DTA-VHKA interface
Our smart-me VHKA Import/Export enables data exchange via a standardized interface to real estate management tools. The property administration creates the request file in their real estate management software and automatically transmits it to smart-me.
The consumption data and the corresponding costs are recorded and then transmitted back to the real estate software automatically. The updated file can then be used to generate and send incidental cost invoices and manage accounting without any additional effort.

FAQ - Frequently asked questions about multi-energy
Is it complicated to bill for energy in an apartment building?
No, the smart-me system offers a simple solution for this. Billing can either be done yourself using the simple smart-me Billing system, delegated to the administration, or delegated to a service provider via smart-me autobill.
How can energy billing be switched to smart-me?
That depends on the conditions in the building, but it is usually technically feasible. Our partners can advise you on this.
Why is digital energy billing with smart-me worthwhile?
Energy billing in buildings has evolved over time and is therefore still mostly analog, manual, and often opaque (meter readings). With smart-me, both building owners and residents have full control over energy consumption. In addition, billing becomes automated, fairer, and cheaper.
Can I integrate existing meters (e.g., from other manufacturers) into the smart-me platform?
That’s no problem; virtually all commercially available meters can be integrated into smart-me. The devices can be integrated into the platform via M-BUS or LoRA WAN. This means that virtually any building can be made digitally fit with smart-me.
Is the solution for consumption-based heating and hot water cost allocation (VHKA) approved in Switzerland?
That’s right, the smart-me platform can generate VHKA-compliant bills and even combine them with ZEV billing.
How does billing work when users consume different types of energy?
Quite simply, the software creates a bill for all integrated energy types and presents this to users in a transparent manner (how much each type of energy cost).
What data can I obtain via smart-me interfaces?
All of them. The open API interface allows seamless integration into any third-party systems. In addition, the data can also be transferred via a standardized interface to the popular real estate tools from Immotop2, RimoR5, Garaio REM, and Abaimmo.
Does the system also support the measurement and billing of cooling for air conditioning?
Yes, even meters that only measure heat and cooling can be easily integrated into the smart-me system.
