Who can participate?
We are looking for property management companies, electricians, project managers, building owners, tenants, and other users of smart-me. If you use our products, we’d love to hear from you!
Why participate?
We believe that the best products are created in collaboration with the people who use them. By participating, you can:
- Improve real-world workflows by sharing with us what works well and what doesn't.
- Get early access to new concepts, prototypes, and features.
- You don't need any special expertise. If you use smart-me products, your perspective is valuable.
- We want to hear from you. Your experiences help us make better product decisions based on real user needs.
Here's what to expect
- Early concepts, prototypes, existing workflows, new product features, short surveys
- Depending on the test, you'll receive a gift as a thank-you.
- As soon as you receive an invitation to a test, you can decide for yourself whether you want to participate.
- Most tests take about 60 minutes. Online surveys take 5–20 minutes.

What does “testing” mean? What is being tested?
You’re not the one being tested—you’re testing smart-me products! We might ask you to try out a new dashboard, test a prototype, or perform an everyday task like creating an invoice. We’re interested in what works well, what’s confusing, and how we can improve our products. Your feedback helps shape what we develop next.
What happens during a test?
We'll walk you through the test, give you a few tasks, and let you explore the product. There are no right or wrong answers—we're interested in your honest impressions.
Most tests last 60 minutes, though sometimes they take less time.
Where are the tests held?
Most tests are conducted online, so you can take them from anywhere. For online tests, we'll send you a link and brief instructions in advance. For some hardware-related tests, we may invite you to our office in Risch-Rotkreuz.
Will I receive compensation?
Yes. The exact compensation depends on the specific test. Depending on the type of session, you may receive an extended smart-me license or a small token of appreciation. You'll find all the details in the invitation.
What happens to my feedback after a test?
Your feedback will be treated confidentially and used exclusively internally to improve our products. Regardless of whether your experience was positive or negative, your feedback will not affect your access to smart-me products, services, or our support.
We value honest feedback—whether something works well or not. Both help us develop better products.
Registration and Deregistration
Does signing up commit me to anything?
No. By registering, you are simply expressing your interest in participating in a test. If we would like to invite you to a test, we will contact you by email or phone.
How can I opt out of the pool of test subjects?
Just send us an email at [email protected], and we'll take care of it.
How often will I be contacted?
Only when we have a suitable test—usually a few times a year.
