The smart-me Cloud is a central, web-based platform for managing, visualising and billing consumption and measurement data. It forms the heart of the smart-me ecosystem and intelligently connects all hardware components with each other.
What are the advantages of the cloud solution?
The cloud automates device management and data processing. Users benefit from transparent data visualisation, efficient load management and the ability to use consumption data for automated billing. It also simplifies and automates billing.
Can I see real-time data in the smart-me cloud?
Yes, when it comes to electricity, users (property owners and residents) can see how much energy is flowing in real time on the web portal and in the app.
Can the smart-me Cloud also control my energy?
Yes, the smart-me Cloud has flexible if/then logic. This allows larger consumption such as electric boilers or heat pumps to be optimised directly. For electromobility, the Cloud has multi-level load management for up to 6 levels and 1,000 devices. Through direct connections to partners, the smart-me Cloud is also compatible with energy management systems, smart home solutions and industrial controls.
What data is stored in the cloud?
The smart-me Cloud collects measurement data from devices such as electricity, heat and water meters. It also collects status information about the devices and, where applicable, control commands.
How is the data protected?
All connections between smart-me devices (meters, modules and gateways) and the smart-me Cloud are encrypted. Each device has its own unique key (256 bits). The Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) algorithm is used. This means that all communication between the smart-me Cloud and the devices is encrypted and validated.
In addition to this encryption, we attach great importance to the security and protection of your data. All measurement data is stored in a certified data centre in Switzerland, which ensures strict compliance with national data protection laws. The cloud platform also uses secure authentication procedures to regulate access to the data and ensure that only authorised users can access their measurement data.
Is the cloud compatible with other systems?
